Pecorino Cheese “ To conquer the World”
The brand chosen to face the journey is a mother goddess cut in half by a wave that crosses it and binds it to a “Nuraghe” * ( a large tower-Shaped stone structure found in Sardinia, dating from the Bronze and Iron Ages). A union between the center of the island and the coasts, with a name linked to the territory: "Bithi di Barbagia".
Under this brand, a group of farmers and cheese producers from central Sardinia met together with the manager Flavio Briatore and Oscar Farinetti who decided to re-launch the Sardinian Pecorino cheese at International level, proposing it in the Eataly Stores and Cipriani restaurants.
The territory of our production is the Northen Barbagia, also called Barbagia di Bitti, center of culture and traditional reference point in the dairy production.
The sheep grazes in the wild and chooses its grass or the best leaves of the shrubs.
From the best milk we make the best cheeses, produced in the technologically adavanced dairies.
The Bithi di Barbagia products are authentic, genuine and natural, the result of a careful milk production and a millenarian cheese tradition combined with the most modern technologies.
